The Mindful Red Tent: Winter Solstice Gathering
As we reach the Winter Solstice, the longest night and the turning point of the year, we gather in the warmth of the fire-lit yurt to honour this moment of deep stillness and quiet renewal.
This Mindful Red Tent offers a sacred, nurturing space for women to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the light within, as the Earth begins her slow return toward the sun.
All who identify as women are warmly welcome. No experience needed - simply bring yourself, just as you are.
A Women’s Circle of Reflection, Connection & Renewal
The Ash Tree Yurt, Plumsted rd, Norwich
18:30-20:30
Tuesday 16th December 2025
What to Expect:
Mindful Meditation: The Light Returns
Through gentle guided meditation, we’ll honour the darkness and welcome the first glimmers of returning light. You’ll be invited to rest deeply, release what you no longer need, and open your heart to renewal.
Council Sharing Circle
We’ll pass a talking piece in circle, offering space to share reflections, insights, or simple presence. Listening deeply and speaking from the heart, we honour the power of shared story and sisterhood.
Creative Ritual: Herbal Bundles for Renewal
As the year turns and the light begins its slow return, we’ll create herbal bundles, small offerings of fragrance and intention, tied with care and mindfulness. Using a selection of winter herbs such as rosemary for clarity, bay for wisdom, lavender for peace, and pine for resilience, each woman will intuitively choose and layer what she feels drawn to.
While we tie and wrap the bundles with natural twine, we’ll reflect on what we wish to release from the old year and what we’re ready to invite in for the new.
These herbal creations can be kept as symbols of renewal or gently released later by burning, composting, or returning them to the earth as a simple ritual of transformation.
Herbal Teas & Winter Comfort
Enjoy soothing herbal teas and seasonal treats by firelight, surrounded by soft blankets, cushions, and the gentle hum of community.
