The Mindful Red Tent: Summer Solstice Gathering
As we arrive at the Summer Solstice, the longest day and shortest night of the year, we gather to honour the height of the sun’s light, warmth, and fullness. This is a moment of radiant pause within the turning wheel of the year: a time to celebrate life in bloom, to acknowledge what has grown, and to reconnect with the vitality and brightness within ourselves.
The Summer Solstice invites us to stand in the fullness of the season and notice what's flourishing, what is asking to be celebrated, and what it means to be fully present in our lives as they are now. Nature is abundant, expansive, and alive, reminding us too of our own inner light, energy, and capacity for joy.
In the soft light of the solstice, we will gather in the yurt to reflect, connect, and gently attune to the qualities of illumination, gratitude, and aliveness that the solstice brings.
This Mindful Red Tent offers a nourishing, grounded space for women to gather in presence, community, and mindful awareness at this bright turning point of the year.
All who identify as women are warmly welcome.
No experience needed - just bring yourself, exactly as you are.

What to Expect
Mindful Meditation: Connecting with Inner Light & Vitality
Through a gentle guided mindfulness practice, we’ll explore the qualities of warmth, openness, and presence that the Summer Solstice embodies. You’ll be invited to connect with the energy of light within the body, to notice what feels alive and nourishing, and to rest in simple awareness of all that is already here.
This is a practice of grounding and appreciation, creating space to honour yourself and the season exactly as they are.
Council Sharing Circle
Seated in circle, we’ll pass a talking piece, creating space for reflection, listening, and shared presence. You may wish to speak about what has come into fullness in your life, what you are grateful for, or what you wish to carry forward into the second half of the year.
We listen without fixing or advice, honouring the power of being witnessed in community.
Creative Ritual:
The Summer Solstice has long been celebrated as a festival of light, abundance, and connection to the sun’s life-giving energy. We’ll share tea and a simple, mindful creative ritual to honour the fullness of the season and offer gratitude for what is flourishing within and around us.
A time to integrate, soften, and leave feeling connected, replenished, and gently illuminated.
