As we arrive at Mabon, the Autumn Equinox, day and night meet in balance before the year begins its gradual turning towards darkness.

We gather at this beautiful threshold to pause and notice what has come to fruition.

Autumn invites us to gather in the harvest of the year. The things we have achieved and created as well as the experiences, lessons, relationships, insights and moments that have shaped our year.

It is a time to appreciate what has nourished us, acknowledge what has grown, and consider what we are ready to release.

Nature offers us a quiet reminder that change doesn't have to be resisted. Leaves let go. Light gradually softens. The earth turns inward. There is wisdom in knowing when to gather, when to release, and when simply to rest.

At Mabon, we will gather in the yurt to slow down, reconnect with ourselves and one another, and gently attune to the qualities of balance, gratitude, acceptance and release.

A space to honour where you are now without needing to rush towards what comes next.

This Mindful Red Tent offers a warm and nourishing space for women to gather in presence, community and mindful awareness at this turning point in the year.

All who identify as women are warmly welcome.

No experience needed, just bring yourself, exactly as you are.

A Women’s Circle of Harvest, Balance & Letting Go

At The Ash Tree Yurt

18:30–20:30

What to Expect

Mindful Meditation: Finding Balance & Letting Go

Through a gentle guided mindfulness practice, we'll explore the qualities of balance, acceptance and release that the Autumn Equinox invites us to consider.

You'll be invited to notice what you are carrying, what has nourished you, and where there might be an opportunity to soften your grip on something that no longer needs to be held so tightly.

A practice of grounding in the present moment and making space for whatever this season of your life is asking of you.

Council Sharing Circle

Seated together in circle, we'll pass a talking piece and create space for reflection, listening and being witnessed.

You might choose to share:

What am I grateful for?

What has come to fruition?

What have I learned?

What am I ready to let go of?

What would I like to carry with me into the darker months?

There is no expectation to share, and no fixing, advice or judgement.

Simply the opportunity to speak, listen and be held in the presence of other women.

Creative Ritual: The Harvest

Mabon is traditionally associated with harvest and gratitude.

We'll share tea and take part in a simple, mindful creative ritual inspired by the season.

A chance to symbolically acknowledge something you are grateful for, something you have grown, and perhaps something you are ready to release.

No artistic experience is needed.

This is simply an invitation to slow down, create with your hands and connect with the meaning of the season.

We'll finish with space to pause, breathe and integrate before returning to the outside world.

A Time to Gather Inward

The Autumn Equinox reminds us that balance isn't about remaining perfectly still.

It is the continual movement between light and dark, activity and rest, holding on and letting go.

As the natural world begins to slow, we too can give ourselves permission to pause.

To notice what is enough.

To appreciate what has been.

And to trust that letting go can create space for something new.

Come and spend an evening slowing down, connecting and honouring your own harvest whatever that may look like.

What Women Have Said

“The Red Tent always feels like coming home — calm, grounding, and full of heart.”

“Kerry holds space with such warmth and ease. The mindfulness, the sharing, the ritual — everything flows beautifully.”

“It helped me reconnect with myself and feel hopeful again.”

About the Mindful Red Tent

The Mindful Red Tent is a space for women to pause, reflect and reconnect with the rhythms of the natural world and their own inner seasons.

Through mindfulness, council sharing and gentle creative ritual, we gather in community to cultivate presence, connection, self-awareness and compassion.

Each gathering follows the turning of the seasons, offering a different invitation to awaken, flourish, gather, release, rest and begin again.
